About This Space & The Person Behind It.

Why This Exists
This space isn’t a brand or a platform. It’s a pause.
A quiet corner for the kind of leadership that doesn’t always get named-- the kind that shows up in how we build teams, hold boundaries, protect dignity, and support staff without losing sight of the client at the center of it all. I created this space to reflect on what leadership in ABA should be-- not just structured, but safe. Not just consistent, but compassionate. Rooted in trauma-informed values, assent-based care, and the belief that how we lead is part of how we serve. What You'll Find Here
This isn’t a blog in the traditional sense.
It’s a place for leadership reflections, team culture notes, and tools built from real work in the field. You might find:

About Me
I’m Heather Salvatore, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Chief Operating Officer at Autastic ABA Therapy.
I started in direct care, supporting clients and families one session at a time. Over the years, I’ve grown into clinical leadership, systems development, and organizational strategy. Today, I work to build the kind of support structures I once needed—ones that honor the humans behind the work.
I believe leadership is a daily behavior, not a job title.
And that the best teams are built through clarity, connection, and consistency—not control.
